Barbara used her credit card through a hotel booking site and reserved our hotel in Siem Reap for the nights of 2/4-2/6 checking out on 2/7.

She said it is highly rated by travelers and she reserved a twin superior room on a lower floor.

They have a great looking pool.  Most people said it's wise to tour in the morning, take a mid day break back at the hotel during the hottest part of the day, then go back out to the temples in the late-afternoon and maybe catch a beautiful sunset there before dinner.

She thought the pool would be great for mid-day cooling off. Here's their website:

Tours of Angkor Wat charge $40-$55 a day for air conditioned car, driver and guide. The highest recommended guide was $55.

There's an additional $10 charge (for gas) to go to Banteay Srey temple because it's a lot further out (a 45-60 minute drive each way).

People said the 'lesser' temples in the area took about 60-75 minutes to go through but the Angkor Wat complex takes a minimum of 2 hours.

People also highly recommend going to the fishing village of Tonle Sap.
