02.05.2009 - Review of my Ocular Problems
Space.

February 05, 2009 - Thursday:  I met first with one doctor and two students for about half an hour and they did the usual tests and questions.  They checked my eyes, my muscle strength in arms and legs, tongue, balance and so on.  They reviewed the tests I have taken over the last three months and then met with Dr. Viktoria Irodenko from the University of California - San Francisco plus another neurologist.  Dr. Viktoria Irodenko and the other specialist did some more tests and told me that since everything else seemed all right, there wasn't any reason to do testing on my arms and legs as far as the ability of the nerves to function correctly.

They told me my left eye lid droops somewhat and asked me to take a photo of my face and eyes when I got home as I hadn't taken my medication for 24 hours.

Pyridostigmine Bromide at 60 MG a tab:

  1. First week taken three times a day.
  2. Second week taken four times a day.
  3. Third week and on - upped to 90 Mg four times a day

Dr. Viktoria Irodenko asked me to take another photo of my face and eyes after 24 hours of taking the medication to see if there was an improvement in my eye lids and sight and forward the photos to her e-mail address.
