Arthur 'Art' J. Buntjer (Rena J. Buss, John) was born 26 Nov 1905 in Brookville Township, Ogle, Illinois, USA, and died 28 Nov 1983 in Rockford, Winnebago, Illinois, USA. He married Lova Luella Westerman on December 01, 1932 in Forreston, Ogle, Illinois, USA, daughter of George Westerman and Esther Baumgarden.   USA.  Milledgeville - Arthur J. Buntjer, 78, of rural Milledgeville, was dead on arrival Monday at St. Anthony Hospital, Rockford, following a car accident. 

Surviving are his widow; two sons, Lavern of Forreston and Larry of Dixon, three daughters, Lavonne Pennington of Sterling, Lorraine Yount of Dixon and Linda Queckeoerner of Chadwick; two sisters, Fay Copoulos and Reina Simmons, both of Freeport; two brothers, Bennie of Rock Falls and Marvin of Brookville; nine grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one son, two brothers and two sisters.  Service will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Brick Church in rural Polo. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery, Polo.  Friends may call from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at Benson- Brown-Seidel Funeral Home, Polo.  A memorial fund has been established.
