The Grand Staircase on the way to the Captains Table!
Gail came flying down the corridor and told me to look in my room for a surprise. So in I went and looked for a present and said, "I don't see anything!" She said, "You are standing on it!" Well guess what, it was my invitation to sit at the Captains Table that evening, cocktails before, and a special table in the center of the dining room for all to see us.
We didn't really want to sit at the Captains Table and low and behold, if we had known how jealous some people would be, we gladly would have sat at our regular table. But fait had this in store for us so we tried to enjoy it. One couple at the table from Walnut Creek, a suburb of San Francisco, had their camera and took a picture of the six of us at the table.
I am waiting for them to send it to me so I may post it on my web site and tell one of the stories from a 'green' eyed jealous person. (See the next link for the Captains Table story!)
