This is our first meeting
on the ship! Yvonne, Frans' wife took the picture! They came
to the ship to meet me and the Captain happened to be standing at the gang
plank. Frans asked for me and the Captain took them into the lounge
and sent someone for me in the restaurant on the ship! Talk about
being happy after so many years and finally getting to meet someone you
had written to so long ago!

Here we are at Frans' house, finally
meeting after 58 years!This is Frans and myself
checking out his old picture album that his Uncle Anthony had put
together years ago. It included several pages of photos we had
sent of the farm in Pecatonica, Illinois. Many had farm animals
such as pigs and horses and of course, myself doing things one does on a
farm, like riding my pony and fishing!
