My First Meeting with my friend Viviane and a few photos taken since then!

I first met Viviane in April of 1999 on the cruise ship M/V Terra Australis traveling through the Magellan Channel between Punta Arenas Chile and Ushuaia Argentina.  We first started to become acquainted in the little town of Puerto Williams Chile and as time went by, we had the dining seating re-arranged so we could sit at the same table everyday.  Little did we realize this would turn into a long term friendship! 

And little did I know within eight months we would be on Air France, flying to Paris and on to Vienna Austria and Budapest Hungary to celebrate the Millennium New Year for 2000!  

Here we are all dolled up in our finery on New Years Eve having cocktails in the leading hotel in Vienna!  

The next year we decided to spend the 2001 New Years in Marrakech, Morocco!   We again flew into Paris and then Casablanca, took the train to Rabat, then a chauffeured Mercedes to Marrakech and the train again to Casablanca and Rick's Bar!    

We were one of the first to have champagne brunch at the newly opened J. Paul Getty Museum in 2002 over looking the Pacific Ocean and the new Frank O. Gehry Disney Symphony Hall opened in the fall of 2003 in downtown Los Angeles.  We, of course, are always doing something special when I visit the Los Angeles area and here in 2004 we were having dinner at an airport in Van Nuys where many people have their private jets and vintage planes serviced and stored, ready to fly on a short notice!  

And this year in 2005 we went to the special Tutankhamun exhibit at the Los Angeles County Museum, one of many events we have enjoyed!
